Government of Canada officials to hold a virtual press conference

Media advisory

Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable Bill Blair, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Joël Lightbound, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, for a press conference regarding the results of the National Joint Board of Investigation into the circumstances around the tragic murder of Marylène Levesque in Quebec in January 2020. They will be joined by Anne Kelly, Commissioner of the Correctional Service of Canada, Jennifer Oades, Chairperson of the Parole Board of Canada, and Sylvie Blanchet, Executive Vice-Chairperson of the Parole Board of Canada.

Following their remarks, officials will take questions from the media.
