Lockdown at Beaver Creek Institution

February 6, 2025 – Gravenhurst, Ontario – Correctional Service Canada

On February 5, 2025, a lockdown was put in place at Beaver Creek Institution, a multi-level security federal institution, to enable staff to complete an exceptional search.

Visits have been suspended until the search is completed. Normal operations will resume as soon as it is considered safe to do so.
