Minister Chartrand in Winnipeg to highlight affordability measures

Winnipeg, Manitoba — Please be advised that the Honourable Rebecca Chartrand, Minister of Northern and Arctic Affairs and Minister responsible for the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency, will discuss the Government of Canada’s plan to build a stronger economy and make life more affordable for Canadians.
Minister Chartrand will highlight the most recent measures announced by the Government, which include the new Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit, as well as initiatives to tackle food insecurity. A media availability will follow.
