Minister Monsef to consult citizens on electoral reform in Iqaluit on August 29 at Frobisher Inn

Ottawa, Ontario, August 26, 2016 – Media representatives are advised that the Minister of Democratic Institutions, the Honourable Maryam Monsef, will be in Iqaluit to host the first in a series of cross-Canada dialogues on federal electoral reform with local residents.

The Minister will meet with Canadians and stakeholders to hear their thoughts on electoral reform directly and discuss how we can improve Canada’s electoral system and our democracy.
