- Represent Canada at expert-level economic policy discussions at the OECD
- Branch/divisional budget, Work plans; HR Action Plan; Recruitment, staffing, training, retention and succession planning documents; Branch risk profiles; Productivity, information sharing and lessons learned initiatives
- Cabinet and Treasury Board
- Parliament and parliamentary committees
- Departments, agencies and Crown corporations
- Public and Canadian interest groups
- Provincial and territorial governments
- International economic, finance and trade communities
- Financial market participants
- Staff, Management, Senior Management
- Ensure that the Minister and senior government officials have timely access to relevant information and evidence-based analysis, research and advice on matters that impact the Government of Canada’s economic and fiscal agenda
- Appropriate resources, tools and processes within the Branch to achieve objectives
- Contribute to transparent fiscal planning that supports long-term fiscal sustainability
- Contribute to the effective management of the fiscal framework
- A strong economy and sound public finances for Canadians
