Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance to Provide an Economic and Fiscal Update

The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, will present an Economic and Fiscal Update in the House of Commons on December 14, 2021, at approximately 4:00 p.m. ET.

The update will provide information on the current state of the economy and the Government of Canada’s continued support for Canadians and Canadian businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The government remains focused on finishing the fight against COVID, ensuring a strong economic recovery for Canada, and making life more affordable for Canadians.

Canadian Parliamentary Press Gallery accredited media are invited to participate in an in-person embargoed reading and technical briefing on Parliament Hill ahead of the release of the Economic and Fiscal Update.
