Biographical Notes – Andrew D. Mutch

Backgrounder

Mr. Andrew D. Mutch currently serves as the President of Michelin North America (Canada) Inc., where he is responsible for ensuring the long-term sustainability and operational excellence of the Canadian operations. Throughout his tenure at Michelin, Mr. Mutch has held several key positions, including Plant Manager of the Michelin Bridgewater Plant and Pictou Tire Operations in Nova Scotia, Director of Strategy and Performance Improvement at Michelin North America in Greenville, South Carolina, and Director of Human Resources at Michelin Canada.

Since September 2019, Mr. Mutch has been a member of the combined US and Canada Board of Directors for Michelin North America, where he plays a crucial role in overseeing operations across North America, with a dedicated focus on risk mitigation.

In addition to his responsibilities at Michelin, Mr. Mutch is an active member of the Board of the Rossini Opera Festival (LAMP) in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, and serves as a committee member for the Nova Scotia Health and Safety Charter. He has also contributed as a former Board Member of the Tire and Rubber Association of Canada and the Crosbie House Addiction Services in New Minas, Nova Scotia.

Mr. Mutch holds a Diploma in Engineering from the University of Prince Edward Island, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, and has completed the Human Resources Executive Program at Queen’s University.
