Duties Relief Program Application Process
The Duties Relief Program enables qualified companies to import goods without paying duties, as long as they later export the goods. This program may be relevant to you if you:
- Import goods into Canada
- Receive goods that were imported into Canada
- Re-export those goods, and want duty relief at time of importation
To apply to the program, complete Form K-90, Duties Relief Application, and submit it to the nearest Canada Border Services Agency office.
The Canada Border Services Agency will review your application and visit your premises.
If the application is approved, the CBSA will issue you a certificate number that identifies you as a duties relief participant. Applications will be denied if you owe the government money.
