Pumpkin Carving Contest

Event information:

• Organized by the Canadian Coast Guard, Arctic Region, in support of the National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign (NDWCC).
• Get ready to show off your carving skills and Halloween spirit! Join us for our Virtual Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest – a fun, creative way to connect with colleagues and support a great cause.
• This event will be hosted on Microsoft Teams at 1200 MDT on October 30th, 2025.
• During the event, participants will have 25 minutes to carve their creations live on teams. Have your pumpkin and carving tools, and get ready for some friendly competition.  1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prices to be won! Note that if a pumpkin is not available, a suitable fruit or vegetable alternative is welcome.
• Everyone is welcome to join! Participation is open to all with a $5 minimum donation or more through the NDWCC Epledge portal to support this year’s campaign. When donating, please select ‘Canadian Coast Guard’ and ‘Arctic Region’ within the dropdown menus, as well as the specific event in the drop down list. Each donation helps to make a real difference in communities across Canada. Your participation contributes directly to improving lives and strengthening the communities where we live and work.

An invitation with a teams link will be sent out to those interested prior to the date for their participation!
