NDWCC Welcomes New Youth Champion

November 4, 2024

Mrs. Raphaëlle Robidoux
NDWCC Youth Co-Champion

Dear Defence Team Members,

We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Raphaëlle Robidoux, Special Advisor to the Defence Technology Officer has volunteered to join this year’s NDWCC team as the NDWCC Youth Co-Champion.

Mrs. Robidoux has a wealth of experience supporting the government of Canada’s charitable campaign. In addition to her new role as Youth Co-Champion she is also the chair for the GCWCC National Youth Council and has been a member of the Youth Council for the last four years.

Mrs. Robidoux is looking to engage the next generation of Defence leaders through the Defence Young Professionals Network, National Youth Council and through several interdepartmental events to help raise awareness for the campaign. Mrs. Robidoux plans to work with the Defence Young Professionals Network (YPN) to engage Youth within the department but also finding innovative ways to reach the Defence Youth who have not joined the YPN. We are looking forward to working with her to see her ideas become reality. As this year’s Co-Champions, we are excited to be working with a well-rounded cadre of volunteers to accomplish the goals set out for this year’s campaign. Without the volunteers, contributors and leaders, none of this would be possible. Remember, every contribution—no matter the size—helps foster hope and creates opportunities. Let’s take flight together and soar towards greater achievements to support those in need.

Thank you for your support,

Lieutenant-General E. Kenny
Commander, Royal Canadian Air Force

Judith Bennett
Associate Assistant Deputy Minister (Material)
