Transport Canada (TC)’s Aircraft Services Directorate (ASD) was transferred to the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG), which is part of the Department of National Defence (DND). This change took effect through a legal instrument known as an Order in Council, which was made on March 25, 2026, and took effect on April 1, 2026.
