CANADIAN FORCES INTELLIGENCE COMMAND CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER
CWO Philippe Cousineau was born in Halifax, Nova-Scotia and joined the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves, in the summer of 1996, with the 51st Service Battalion in St-Hubert QC, as a vehicle technician. Following a component transfer to AVN tech and the completion of trades training, he was posted to 8 Wing Trenton where he worked on the CC-130 as a first and second-line technician. He participated in multiple deployments in support of OP APOLLO and OP ATHENA. Upon Promotion, to MCpl, he was transferred to the ETO Training cell within 8 Air Maintenance Squadron.
In the summer of 2006, he was transferred to 426 Sqn in Trenton, where he was employed as an instructor for various courses concerning the CC-130.
On promotion to Sgt in 2008, he was posted to 409 Sqn, 4 Wing Cold Lake AB, where he was employed in Snags/Servicing, Tech Training Cell and the Employment and Training Office.
CWO Cousineau was posted to Ottawa in July 2011 at DGAEPM as the CWO’s assistant. On promotion to WO in April 2012, he was moved to the Transport and Helicopter Directorate to perform the responsibilities of the T-56 LCMM.
Promoted to MWO in June 2015, he was posted to DGMC as a Career Manager with D MIL C 4, managing various portfolios concerning RCAF aircraft technician trades.
Upon promotion to CWO in July 2019, CWO Cousineau was selected to attend the Non-Commission Members Executive Professional Development Program at the Royal Military College of Canada. Upon graduation he was posted to 436 Sqn, 8 Wing Trenton, where he assumed the responsibilities of the Squadron Chief Warrant Officer, until his move to Winnipeg to assume the role of the 17th Wing Chief Warrant Officer. CWO Cousineau assumed the role of CFINTCOM CCWO in July 2025.
