Comparison of CCHS Ver 1.2 Canadian National Figures to CF Supplement for the Regular Force. Percentages have been standardized to the Regular Force Population to permit comparison.
* PTSD was not surveyed in CCHS Ver 1.2 Canadian Population although a recent study reported from McMaster University examined PTSD in the Canadian General Population and found a Lifetime prevalence of 9.2%. When the CF Population is age/sex standardized to the Canadian General Population the lifetime prevalence of PTSD in the CF increases to 9.2%--the same number.
