Operation HONOUR: Victim Support Study

On behalf of the CAF Strategic Response Team on Sexual Misconduct, Director General Military Personnel Research and Analysis (DGMPRA) is conducting a research study to examine the experiences of CAF members who have sought and/or received support after being affected by sexual harassment or violence. We intend to explore the types of help people seek (both informal and formal), quality of care, as well as challenges and gaps in available services.

Phase 1 of the study was securing participants. This phase is complete and phase 2, the interviews, is underway. However, if additional participants wish to come forward to have their voice heard they may contact the lead researcher, as more participants may be required for future phases of the study.

For more information, please contact the lead researcher Dr. Stacey Silins at 613-901-9601. She and her team are available to answer questions or provide more details.
