Enormous. If you feed your brain well, you’ll feel better mentally and physically. It is a bi-directional link.

“What’s a go-to nutritious food?”

Fruit.

To feed the world equitably.

Check nutrition credentials and for science based evidence.

“As a Registered Dietitian with Strengthening the Forces, how has your role changed with the COVID-19 pandemic?”

We have more mental health and nutrition benefits messaging and COVID-19 nutrition messaging.

“Who is the most influential person in your life?”

My daughter.

“What is your favourite treat food?”

Dark chocolate!

“Why did you pursue a career in nutritional wellness?”

I was a Food Services officer for 20 years and this field keeps me connected to the CAF (Canadian Armed Forces) community and feeds my passion for food nutrition.

“Why is Nutrition month important?”

It promotes healthy eating and dietitians as the most credible and trusted source of nutrition information.
