Col Horner: Oh, there's all kinds of pressure, this is going to be on the internet.
Hi, I'm Christopher Horner and I'm the Commanding Officer of the Canadian Joint Warfare Centre here to take the 60 Second Challenge.
What is the Joint Warfare Centre and its mandate?
The Joint Warfare Centre is a joint enabler. It functions on capability development and force development to help enable the future of the Canadian Forces.
Who is your role model?
The Mandalorian, this is the way.
What is wargaming?
Wargaming is a safe to fail environment with different players looking at simulated or potential real-time events that would walk decision makers through a process of coming up with solutions for potential military operations.
How does the Centre prepare the CAF for future operations?
By using our Joint Operations Fusion Lab, state of the art experimentation, and analytical rigour, we can help decision makers come to conclusions faster and earlier about how to make choices for the future.
What does leadership mean to you?
Leadership is being calm in crisis, being courageous as we plan for the future, being compassionate when we deal with our personnel, and above all else being a champion for our team.
And that's 60 Seconds!
