DT News: Air Task Force Romania, changes to service medals, and next week is Bell Let’s Talk Day

(Julie-Anne) Earlier this month Air Task Force – Romania completed its four-month NATO enhanced Air Policing mission.  The task force is the air component of Operation REASSURANCE, Canada’s contribution to NATO assurance and deterrence measures in Central and Eastern Europe.

(Shelley) During their deployment, Canadian Armed Forces members conducted regular training with their Romanian counterparts and other NATO Allies, including flight operations, medical support, flight safety, aircraft maintenance, air control, and military policing.

(J) As outlined in the defence policy, Strong, Secure, Engaged, Canada continues its commitment to collective defence alongside its NATO Allies.

(S) Welcome home and Bravo Zulu to the CAF members who deployed on this important, collaborative mission.
