Transcript

(Shelley) The Royal Canadian Navy successfully completed a joint multinational naval exercise hosted by Maritime Forces Pacific off the coast of western Vancouver Island last month.

Task Group Exercise 21-01 provided operational readiness training related to several at-sea domains, including warfare, warship deployment, and interoperability with allies and partners.

Along with the Royal Canadian Navy, it included participation from the Royal Canadian Air Force, U.S. Navy aircraft and U.S Coast Guard aircraft and patrol ships.

Participants remained separated on their own platforms at all times to reduce the risk of COVID-19 and quarantined prior to their participation.

Fresh off this training, the Royal Canadian Navy continues to operate around the globe, with current deployments on operations in both Pacific and Arctic waters.

Are you ready to ride?

The Navy Bike Ride is pleased to present the 2021 Virtual Harry DeWolf Challenge. This year the goal is 30,000 cumulative rides as we chart the course for HMCS Harry DeWolf’s inaugural deployment through Canada’s Arctic and North American waters!
