Commander Jon Nicholson, Commanding Officer of HMCS Harry DeWolf:

The goal of Operation CARIBBE is the interdiction and seizure of illegal narcotics making its way to the continent of North America, but also gathering of intelligence to thwart the people who are in charge of these narco-terrorist cells to make sure that drugs do not make it to not only Canada, but the United States and our other Caribbean partners.

Operations Officer, HMCS Harry DeWolf:

On the 1st of March 2025, HMCS Harry DeWolf in conjunction with the U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachment embarked, had a successful drug bust where we seized and interdicted 750 kg of cocaine from getting into North American territories. So, it was a really good success story conducted at night. It was a challenging operation, and it was done really well by all members involved.

Operations Room Officer, HMCS Harry DeWolf:

Operation CARIBBE is very important. This operation is carried out on a rotational basis in Canada. So, this operation enables us to secure the streets of North America, the streets of Canada, and the United States, while also allowing us to secure the streets for our next generation. Many of us have young children. We’re doing this for their future.

Commander Jon Nicholson

We are working hand in hand with U.S. Coast Guard personnel who are embarked in Harry DeWolf and we as a combined team make a fantastic task force that is really making a difference.
