Canada is one of 19 participants in TALISMAN SABRE. Here we're currently working with our allies and partners in order to demonstrate capabilities and work alongside to make sure that we have that interoperability with our allies and partners so that we can showcase what we have and what we can bring to the Indo Pacific.
Some of the more unique capabilities that Canada has sent forward include our cyber personnel. These members are capable of doing defensive cyber operations which include threat hunting and discovering ways in which our forces are vulnerable.
Controlling aircraft in Australia's been a particularly rewarding experience. You can get the control aircraft that I typically would never get to talk to back home in Canada. The F35 in particular is a very exciting aircraft. Controlling something novel for all of us has been a really cool experience.
I think at times like this we all need friends and partners, and the Canadians coming along way with such a big element of their A-grade force showed that partnership to be strong and was an incredible contribution. I think it sends a very clear message not only to us but also our allies and partners that we do have friends and relationships stretching around the globe, and that is incredibly reassuring.
