Exercise SUPER GARUDA SHIELD is underneath Operation HORIZON and we're here to improve the interoperability between the participating nations from the planning process to the execution on ground here.
Well, we're here on ground to try to practice a humanitarian aid mission by building schools and a gravel road.
The Indo-Pacific is currently at the epicenter of a generational global share. What does that mean? Everything that matters to Canada, whether it's our economy, our public health, our environment, our security is being shaped by developments in this region.
Canadians should be proud of the Canadian Armed Forces participation on Exercise SUPER GARUDA SHIELD for three reasons. First and foremost, it underscores our commitment to supporting and promoting global peace and security. Secondly, supporting multilateralism and military international cooperation. And then lastly, and I think most importantly, getting back to community through meaningful community outreach.
The host nation has been an incredible host for us. Working in this community with all the children and families around, it's been a great experience and really humbling to leave something good behind.
