General Jonathan Vance: Hello, everyone. Hello, everyone. I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas and happy holidays. Happy holidays and merry Christmas everyone. It's been a challenging year, but I'm so grateful for the service and dedication of all members of the Canadian Armed Forces and the Department of National Defence. The country relies on you and so do I. Thank you very much.

Jody Thomas: Team, thank you for everything you've done this year. It's been an extraordinary year. For those who can, please try and take some time over the next few weeks to rest and recharge. For those of you working or serving overseas, on behalf of our country, I, your colleagues and all Canadians, are so grateful for your service. Thank you.

CPO 1 David Steeves: I forgot, we have to do the Navy's naughty or nice list.

RAdm Chris Sutherland: Speaking of naughty or nice, 2020 has been naughty to a lot of people. So, please, be nice throughout the Christmas season and the holiday season, take care of you and yours and especially yourself. Sir?

VAdm Art McDonald: Well said team, and on behalf of sailors across the Royal Canadian Navy, happy holidays all.

LGen Wayne Eyre: We join all Canadians in thanking you for your extraordinary efforts as we faced unprecedented challenges over the course of this last difficult year.

CWO Stu Hartnell: We're also very proud of how the entire Defence Team, both military members and civilians alike, have acted in order to protect us and to support Canadians in this time of need.

LGen Wayne Eyre: On behalf of the Canadian Army, we wish you and yours a very happy holiday season and all the best for 2021.

Peter Hammerschmidt: Hello everyone. Happy holidays from ADM Pol to everybody. It's been a challenging and difficult year for all of us, but we've still managed to accomplish some pretty amazing things here at Defence and you should all be proud of everything that you've done to achieve that. So, please, take some time over the holidays and get some rest and spend some time with your loved ones, socially distanced, of course, and stay safe, and see you in hopefully a much better 2021.

Julie Charron: On behalf of the Assistant Deputy Minister (Review Services), I would like to wish you and your family a very happy holiday season. May 2021 bring you joy, peace, prosperity and the confidence that we will meet again soon.

Claude Rochette: Hello dear colleagues and friends. 2020 is almost over. Upon reflection, it’s incredible to see all the work that was done and accomplished during the pandemic.  I would like to thank you all for your efforts and for taking care of each other through this difficult time. I hope you will get a bit of a break and some time to recharge. Happy holidays to you and yours.

MGen Marc Bilodeau: I implore you to stay vigilant over the holidays. Following the public health recommendations regarding COVID-19 will help you, as well as your loved ones and colleagues, stay healthy. My family and I wish you and yours a happy holiday and good health.

Cheri Crosby: Like me, many of you are going an extra mile to keep your distance and to stay apart. And like me, you're probably finding this to be a little bit isolating and maybe lonely and possibly even a little bit nauseating, but wherever you are, overseas or in the office or in your basement, I sincerely wish you a wonderful and special holiday season. We may be far apart, but we are more connected than ever and we will get through this together. Stay well, stay safe, stay positive and enjoy your holiday bubble wherever you are. Over!

Simon Page: Here we go again. 2020 is almost behind us and it's been challenging for all of us. So, we're a few days away from enjoying some holidays to appreciate the smaller things in life, the stuff that we don't usually pay attention to, but that can be so wonderful and so beautiful.

On that note, I wish you a wonderful, wonderful holiday season. Happy holidays to all.

But I hope you will all find comfort in the knowledge that during this unprecedented time of crisis, you stepped up, you showed great resilience and you never stopped doing what people expected you to do, which is to defend our country. So, thanks for what you do. And please be sure to look after yourselves and your loved ones during this upcoming holiday season.
