My name is LCol Adam Pintney.

I'm the Commanding Officer of 429 Transport Squadron and presently deployed on Op GLOBE as the Air Detachment Commander of Air Detachment Panama.

Op GLOBE 02 is an airlift detachment that's been sent down to Panama using the C-17 behind me and we're going to use it to deliver, on behalf of the World Food Program, COVID relief supplies, PPE, to a number of countries throughout Central America and the Caribbean.

I'm Lilly Nicholls and I'm Canada's ambassador to Panama.

When that plane landed, I can tell you, we had a very excited and a very proud embassy and I know that Panamanians felt the same way.

We heard messages all night of people expressing gratitude and happiness that we were here.

My name is David Lavoie, Sergeant in the Canadian Military Police.

I think this is very important because Canada traditionally has always participated in peacekeeping operations

and also in humanitarian aid and assistance after hurricanes, natural disasters, after wars and so on.

Canada was always present and ready to intervene.
