Improved HRSS portal - simplifies compensation-related requests

February 24, 2021 - Defence Stories

ADM(HR-Civ) has upgraded its Human Resource Services and Support (HRSS) portal processes to make it simpler for civilian employees to submit and monitor their Compensation-related requests.

Employees can submit requests for multiple pay services, such as extra duty pay, timesheets, leave without pay less than 5 days, and paid leave and easily track their progress all in one place. The use of DND Designated PKI card (D-PKI) is required. Managers now can electronically authorize employee compensation requests in accordance with S.34 of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) via the E-approval process. If you prefer to submit hard copies through the current HRSS process, this option remains available to you.

As part of ADM(HR-Civ)’s efforts to continuously improve services, new features were added to simplify the process for you:

These new features leverage a digital approach and financial E-Approvals making the process more efficient for both the employee and manager.
