Did you know that the DM Commendations Program has been re-launched as a complimentary program to the Celebrating Excellence Awards?
The award categories for the 2020/2021 program have been selected to support emerging priorities for National Defence.
The four awards categories are:
- Environment Award
- Youth/Student Award
- Wellness Award
- Diversity and Inclusion Award
Spring is in full swing, so what better time to nominate a deserving colleague or team for a DM Commendations Environment Award.
Find out below if your nominee meets the criteria.
Environment Award
This award recognizes individuals that make measurable contributions to sustainability and develop innovative initiatives that will have positively impact the environment.
- Leads activities that improve the quality of the air, water, land or natural resources;
- Increases awareness of environmental stewardship and practices; and/or
- Encourages the efficient use of resources.
The nomination deadline for the Environment Award is June 30, 2021.
