Indigenous Training Curriculum Learning Needs Assessment

The Director General of Indigenous Affairs (DGIA) is conducting a learning needs analysis to inform the approach for a coordinated Indigenous learning curriculum for DND /CAF. Participation from L1 organizations is strongly encouraged and is entirely voluntary. By completing this survey, DND/CAF employees and members are making an important and significant contribution to ensuring Indigenous learning opportunities are relevant and well-coordinated across DND/CAF. Ongoing learning about our First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities, history and cultures is critical to developing the capacity and cultural competencies to build and maintain meaningful relationships moving forward. Your valuable participation is appreciated.

The support of L1s to broadly share the survey (you are now leaving the Government of Canada website) and encourage participation is being requested.

Completing the survey should take between 30 and 45 minutes and final responses are requested by August 11, 2021.

Survey responses will remain anonymous and confidential throughout the collection, analysis and reporting process.
