Updating your section 34 manager in Phoenix

Have you recently changed positions or had a change in manager? Have you updated your section 34 manager in the Phoenix pay system?
It is critical that your civilian section 34 manager is correctly identified before you submit any payable time or leave without pay (LWOP) for five days or less through Phoenix Self-Service. This will allow your manager to:
- validate your work schedule in Phoenix
- enter time on your behalf
- approve any payable time or leave without pay (LWOP) for five days or less that you enter via Self-Service
Employees must update their section 34 manager in Phoenix every time they change positions or get a new manager. Employees who are in an acting position should also confirm their section 34 manager.
Note: the effective date can only be a current or future date.

New: An automated notification will be sent to section 34 civilian managers biweekly after the pay day when there are transactions pending in Phoenix that require their immediate action. Managers should ensure requests are approved within the identified cut-off periods.
