Defence Team managers: Encourage students to take the 2021 Student Exit Survey
August 12, 2021 - Defence Stories
The Student Exit Survey (SES) is led by the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer (OCHRO) at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS), and has been conducted annually since 2017. The goal of the SES is to take a snapshot of students’ work experiences near the end of their current work term.
The 2021 SES is an online survey that launched on August 10th and will be open for a period of approximately 4 weeks. The survey takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Managers are expected to allow time for students to complete the survey during the workday. Please send your students a calendar invite for a time during their work hours when they can participate in the survey.
The 2021 Student Exit Survey is now live! Please send your students the link to the survey: https://questionnaire.simplesurvey.com/f/l/ses-2021-sfee?idlang=EN
Here are some key messages that can be shared with your student employees:
- The email invitation to complete the SES will come from within our organization;
- The SES email invitation will be sent approximately two to three weeks before the end of your student work term;
- All student employees are eligible to participate, whether their work term is ending, being extended, or they are being rehired internally or in another organization; and
- Responses will be kept confidential in accordance with the Privacy Act and will not be linked to any personal information.
Make sure the students complete the Student Exit Survey before the deadline on September, 10th 2021.
If your students would like to book an appointment to do the survey by phone, need technical assistance or additional information about this survey, please have them contact PSES-SAFF@tbs-sct.gc.ca.
