Update: Remote Work Reimbursement Support
August 3, 2021 - Defence Stories
Defence Team: The continuation of remote work reimbursement support was announced in the new CANFORGEN 111/21 (accessible only on the National Defence network). As stipulated in CANFORGEN 111/21, timelines for reimbursement have been extended to between April 1, 2021, and September 30, 2021 for personnel who incurred work-related expenses while working remotely.
Before you proceed to make a claim, please consider the following important points outlined in CANFORGEN 111/21:
- employees should utilize existing pens, paper and stationary (PP&S) stock at the workplace or from local purchase orders before submitting a claim under this programme
- employees who have unpaid invoices related to the period March 13, 2020 to March 31, 2021 can claim reimbursement in acknowledgement with CANFORGEN 147/20 (accessible only on the National Defence network)
- consumable and non-consumable items previously claimed and approved under CANFORGEN 115/20 and 147/20 cannot re-claimed
For more information on eligibility, claimable amounts, reimbursable expenses, and the reimbursement claim process, please consult the Remote Work Reimbursement Support Message and Guide.
