The 2021 Liz Hoffman Memorial Commendation ceremony

Hosted by the Office of the Department of National Defence and Canadian Armed Forces Ombudsman, the Liz Hoffman Memorial Commendation is awarded annually to recognize members of the Defence community. We honour those members who go the extra mile and exceed expectations to bring about positive and lasting change to the DND and the CAF.

Join us on-line for this year’s ceremony on October 21, 2021 at 10 am (EST). We will be hosting a pre-recorded ceremony on the Office’s Facebook account (@dndcfombudsman in English and @mdnfcombudsman in French).

Facts

• Liz Hoffman worked for the office as an investigator.
• Every year the ceremony is held on the same day as Conflict Resolution Day, the third Thursday of October.
• Anyone in in the Defence community can nominate someone for or be a recipient of the Liz Hoffman Memorial Commendations.
