The Liz Hoffman Memorial Commendation is awarded annually to CAF members, civilian employees, family members, and other members of the Defence community who go above and beyond in helping their colleagues resolve difficult problems or who bring about positive and lasting change within the Defence community.
Liz Hoffman was an investigator with the Ombudsman's Office who had a deeply rooted sense of fairness and was a tremendous force for positive change. This commendation allows the Office to recognize those in the Defence community who, like Liz, are dedicated to helping others and making a difference.
