Pension

When should you expect your monthly pension payments in retirement?

The Pension Centre normally issues your first pension payment by direct deposit within 45 calendar days after the date of retirement. To avoid delays, you and the Pay Centre or your departmental compensation services must submit the required information before your retirement. Following your first payment, the benefits follow a pension calendar where it is directly deposited in your bank account. Deposits are made on the second last business day of the month.
