Chief Professional Conduct and Culture (CPCC) is pleased to announce a roster of training and education opportunities in both English and French for all members of the Defence Team, thanks to a partnership with the Canadian Centre for Diversity & Inclusion (CCDI) (You are now leaving the Government of Canada website). CCDI is a registered, not-for-profit organization that promotes diversity, inclusion, and equity in Canadian workplaces. DND/CAF has joined the more than 600 “employer partners” that CCDI collaborates with in Canada.
“We believe that this partnership will help us both strengthen and enrich our organization so that we can enjoy an inclusive workplace that allows each one of us to flourish,” said LCol Nathalie Levesque, CPCC Director of Training & Education, “This is a free opportunity for professional development that we offer to all members of the Defence Team.”
For those Defence Team members who are interested in participating:
- First register with CCDI (You are now leaving the Government of Canada website) by creating an account with your forces.gc.ca email address.
NOTE: Defence Team members enrolled at the Canadian Forces College, Royal Military College, or OSSIDE Institute and Collège Militaire Royale may register with their CFC, RMC or CMRJS extensions.
- Once registered as a member, you will have access to active courses, for example, a series of webinars (You are now leaving the Government of Canada website).
- You will also have access to Community of Practice events, a knowledge repository, and a discount towards the professional certification program with a Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional (CCIP) designation.
- Please note that participation in any CCDI session does not replace coursework that is mandatory for the Defence Team. However, completed training sessions may be added to performance reviews.
If you have additional questions regarding the CCDI or other training opportunities, please contact the CPCC Training & Education team.
