Defence Ethics Survey – Your participation is vital

May 15, 2023 – Defence Stories

The 2023 Defence Ethics Survey was sent to a random sample of Defence Team members. Completion of the survey is voluntary. However, the participation of those who have been invited to participate is invaluable in providing senior leaders with essential information on topics such as ethical culture within the organization, ethical leadership, perceptions of the Department of National Defence and Canadian Armed Forces Code of Values, and opinions on ethics training and activities. Respondents will also have an opportunity to offer comments in their own words.

The results will be used to measure how well the CAF and DND are doing ethically and what needs to be improved. High participation rates are vital to ensuring that the information collected is complete and accurate. It also allows for analysis of ethical issues experienced by different sub-groups within the CAF and DND.

The Defence Ethics Survey is an ongoing collaboration between the Defence Ethics Programme and Director General Military Personnel Research and Analysis.
