Virtual Shout-Outs – Bulletin #29
July 31, 2023 - Defence Stories
Check out who is keeping up the great work in the July Shout-outs!
"Feedback is the breakfast of champions."
-Ken Blanchard
Do you know of a co-worker who deserves a special shout-out or are you looking for a way to recognize someone who has made an impact, big or small? Virtual Shout-Outs are a quick and easy way for you to publicly recognize a colleague, or team of colleagues, for a job well done.
Here's how to submit a Virtual Shout-out:
- Email your shout-outs to the Corporate Awards and Recognition Secretariat and
- Provide the email(s) of the person(s) being recognized.
- Shout-outs are collected on an ongoing basis.
Note that shout-out recipients will be given the option to "opt out" of having their message displayed on the Bulletin Board (accessible only on the National Defence network) on the Maple Leaf and the Defence Team intranet, and submissions can remain anonymous.
Don't delay! Virtually shout-out your hard-working colleagues today!
Shout-out to the exceptional DMPS BMT HR team (Julie, Audrey, Cynthia, Donna-Jean, WO Nicole Forrest, Dominique and Dante) for their excellent work and dedication to support two DG offices, DMPS and ten major projects located within DGMPD. Thank you for investing yourself despite the several challenges that you are facing in this fast-pace environment!
Jenna Blakley from Chief Professional Conduct and Culture's (CPCC) Engagement and Strategic Partnerships team has that rare mix of talent, wide range of skills, ability to learn quickly, natural leadership, get-it done attitude, and just being an incredibly caring colleague. What's even more impressive is how she takes on everything she's given and still jumps in to help every single member of our team. At times I think that she has a clone! In addition to her other roles, Jenna is also our social director and ensures that everyone's birthday is celebrated. Everyone should have a Jenna on their team!
Thank you for all that you do, Jenna!
We would like to send a BZ to the Integrated Complaint Registration and Tracking System (ICRTS) support team, especially Seyed and Melony for their amazing support in creating ICRTS accounts for our clients. Their responsiveness to the barrage of Active Posting Season (APS) requests has not only brought credibility to the Conflict and Complaint Management Service (CCMS) Centres and by extension to Director General Conflict Solutions and Services (DGCSS) but more importantly, it has had a real impact on the Chains of Command's ability to help their operational requirements and thus bolster confidence in the institution. Thank-you BZ!
