DND’s Chief Information Officer (CIO), Sophie Martel, invites you to join in a Lunch & Learn session to explore your own mindsets, and how these change over your lifetime.

Leaders are required to navigate huge complexity. From macro issues like sustainability and supply chain challenges, to more local dilemmas like managing people dynamics and hitting targets... and somehow also trying to find gaps to work out, visit the dentist and juggle family commitments. It can be overwhelming. In this complex world, leaders need more options to choose from, and that comes from changing how we think. The science of this is called adult or vertical development.

Research is increasingly showing us that as leaders become more aware of their assumptions and narratives – and how these influence a person, others, and culture – then more insights and possibilities are discovered. In turn, the more options we have, the better able we are to navigate the complexities we face.

On March 18th, 2024, Danny Morris from Global Leadership Associates (GLA), will facilitate a discussion on this topic and enable attendees to explore their own leadership mindset story - LIVE in the session - through using Transformation Cards. Following the session, there’s a limited option for 18 people to take a cutting-edge new assessment and digital learning experience, MyWorldView.

Helping measure leadership mindsets and then shifting them, is the focus of Danny’s work. In particular, he helps bridge the connection between individual leader worldviews and organizational culture. Danny is a partner at GLA, a world leader in “vertical development” or the understanding and shifting of mindsets.
