Participate in Mental Health Week activities

Mental Health Week is taking place May 6-12, 2024. The theme this year is “healing with compassion” because as the hashtag says,  #CompassionConnects us all.

This week, Defence Team members can access a variety of events that will showcase the mental health and well-being resources, programs and supports available to them.

Mental Health Week Wellness Fair

Attend in-person in the National Capital Region

Program representatives will be on-site at National Defence Headquarters (Carling) and available to discuss the programs and supports they offer. Stop by to meet program representatives, explore the various resources available to you and ask questions.

Location: NDHQ (Carling) Building 5 (Atrium and East Cafeteria)

Take a virtual tour of the various wellness resources, programs and supports available to you, with multimedia presentations from program representatives, downloadable resources, and much more!

Defence Team members are invited to join our webinar on self-compassion. Self-compassion is a powerful tool for motivation and is strongly related to psychological well-being, including increased life satisfaction and resilience, and decreased anxiety and depression.

Explore the concept of self-compassion and how it relates to psychological well-being, and learn how it can be developed to help create a positive impact on your personal and career goals.
