This year's National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign kicked off with a bang! We have seen many successful events in support of this year's campaign so far and there are many more to come! We are proud to be a part of this year's campaign and to witness you all coming together to "Take Flight for Good". If you have already donated, volunteered or participated, we thank you! But if you haven't there's still plenty of time! This is YOUR chance to make a difference and "Take Flight for Good" in your community!

You can support the causes that matter most to you online via our e-Pledge system. This online platform allows you to make donations, choose from a list of over 68,000 Canadian charities to support, and manage your contributions effectively. For those members wishing to make donations through payroll deductions, the deadline to submit are 22 November 2024 for Military and NPF employees and 5 December 2024 for civilian public servants.

If making a financial donation isn't feasible for you right now, you can still contribute by volunteering or participating in local events. The NDWCC events webpage lists a wide range of local activities and is continuously updated as new events are confirmed. Your contribution matters!

Canvassers are standing by to help, if you have any questions or simply need a friendly reminder – we will be there! If you need help finding a canvasser, please contact your Team Lead.

To date, $639,638.00 (as of 16 Oct 2024) has been raised towards the Department's $2,000,000 goal for the 2024 campaign. Thanks to your generosity, Canadian seniors have received the care needed to ensure they can stay in their homes longer; food banks and emergency shelters have been adequately supplied to support families in need; and Canadians have access to the tools and support needed to help cope with disabling and life-threatening diseases.

Remember, every contribution—no matter the size—helps foster hope and create opportunities. Let's take flight together and soar towards greater achievements to support those in need.

Give Hope, Give Opportunity, Give Generously!
