A new approach for workplace harassment and violence prevention is now in effect for members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). As of March 1, 2025, a revised policy, DAOD 5014-0, Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention, is in effect for all Defence Team members.

This updated policy aligns the CAF Harassment program with the public service employee Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention (WHVP) Program resulting in one unified approach for dealing with harassment and violence in the workplace, applicable to both Department of National Defence (DND) public service employees and CAF members. Going forward, all incidents of harassment and violence in the Defence Team will be managed by the Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention Program.
