The Defence Community Support and Resource Centre (DCSRC) is inviting Defence community members to help shape the future of support services for those affected directly or indirectly by sexual misconduct and/or racism.
On May 26, 2026, the DCSRC launched two new Community Consultations focused on:
- the 24/7 Support Line and
- the Response and Support Coordination Program.
These consultations are an opportunity for community members to share insights, perspectives, and ideas in a meaningful way in a supportive environment. Feedback gathered through the consultations will help identify strengths, gaps, barriers, and opportunities for improvement across both services.
The DCSRC is committed to listening, building trust, and working collaboratively with the Defence community to improve support services and better respond to the realities and needs of those who use them.
Help improve the 24/7 support line
The consultation on the 24/7 Support Line will explore how the service can be more accessible, responsive, and supportive for Defence community members.
Participants are encouraged to share:
- what is working well;
- challenges or barriers they may have experienced; and
- ideas to improve access and strengthen support.
The feedback received will help strengthen the service and inform future improvements.
Help strengthen the Response and Support Coordination Program
The consultation on the Response and Support Coordination Program will focus on client experience, access to services, and areas where additional support may be needed.
The DCSRC is seeking to better understand:
- how community members experience the program;
- which aspects of the program are working well;
- where gaps or challenges may exist; and
- how services can continue to evolve to better meet community needs.
Feedback shared through the consultations will help inform ongoing program improvements.
