Following the DM message on May 25, Department of National Defence (DND) public service employees are required to update their work agreements to reflect the new four-day-per-week on-site work requirement.

Existing accommodations (Duty to Accommodate) and valid exceptions to the Direction on prescribed presence in the workplace are not impacted by the requirement stated above.

Should your L1 organization have workspace constraints that prevent a shift to four-day-per-week on-site on July 6, you will be informed directly by your management. Employees in this situation should update their arrangement to reflect the requirements determined by their L1.
