Canadian Armed Forces to Participate in Exercise COLD RESPONSE in Norway

Toronto, Ontario – Media are invited to schedule telephone interviews with Canadian Armed Forces personnel taking part in Exercise COLD RESPONSE 2016, in Norway.
When: At varying times; February 23 to March 22, 2016.
Where: Via telephone.
What: 300 soldiers from the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment (3 RCR) from Petawawa, Ontario are deploying to Norway on Exercise COLD RESPONSE 2016 from February 19 to March 22, to conduct winter warfighting training in a multinational exercise. This Norway-led biennial exercise will include 15 000 troops from NATO nations as well as several participating units from other NATO partners. The Canadian Contingent Commander, LCol William Graydon, will be periodically available for telephone interviews before and during the exercise.
