Media Opportunity with the outgoing Commander of Task Force Mali

Media are invited to participate in a one-on-one telephone interview with the Operation PRESENCE—Mali Task Force Commander, Colonel Chris McKenna. Operation PRESENCE is part of the Government of Canada’s overall efforts to help set conditions for durable peace, development, and prosperity in Mali.

Who:   Colonel Chris McKenna, Commander Task Force Mali.

When: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST on January 15, 2019.

What: Individual phone interviews about the highlights of the first group of Canadian Armed Forces personnel that deployed on Op PRESENCE—Mali. The first group deployed as part of MINUSMA and provided aeromedical evacuations and tactical airlift capabilities supporting UN efforts in the region from July 2018 to January 2019. The second group will continue with the mission until July 2019.
