Interview Opportunity, Operation PRESENCE-Mali

Media are invited to participate in one-on-one telephone or Skype interviews with the Commander Task Force Mali, Colonel Travis Morehen.

Who:   Colonel Travis Morehen, Commander Task Force Mali

When: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. EDT on August 28, 2019 and 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. EDT on August 29, 2019.

What: Individual phone interview regarding Operation PRESENCE-Mali. As part of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali, the Canadian Armed Forces deployed a tactical aviation helicopter detachment to Gao from July 2018 to the end of August 2019. Over the past year, deployed personnel conducted aeromedical evacuations and transport missions in support of UN peace and security operations.
