75th anniversary of the founding of the Canadian Rangers

Media are invited to a ceremony, marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Canadian Rangers, which is taking place at the Government House in Victoria, British Columbia, on May 23, 2022.

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada; Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, the Honourable Janet Austin; the Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of National Defence; and General Wayne Eyre, Chief of the Defence Staff,  will be present at this event and will meet with Canadian Rangers and other members of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Media will be given the opportunity to speak with Lieutenant Governor Austin, Minister Anand, and General Eyre before the start of the event at 16:10 PDT.
