Canadian Armed Forces host eight allied nations for counter-explosive threat exercise

Media are invited to attend Exercise ARDENT DEFENDER at 5 Canadian Division Support Base (5 CDSB) Gagetown on October 23, 2023.

Approximately 180 Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members will host nearly 150 military members from eight partner nations from October 20 to November 2, 2023.

What:
Media are invited to attend an exercise event that will feature allied explosives experts addressing an explosives threat typically found in Eastern Europe.
When:
October 23, 2023, at 9 a.m. (AST).
Media are requested to arrive at 5 CDSG Headquarters (Bldg D17) no later than 8:30 a.m. where they will be greeted and escorted to the exercise.
Where:
5th Canadian Division Support Group (Gagetown) Headquarters, RGVX+88, Oromocto, NB E2V  4J5

Interested media must confirm their attendance with 5th Canadian Division Support Group Public Affairs no later than 4:00 p.m. (AST) on October 20, 2023.
