Please note that the Recruitment Modernization Technical Brief will be delayed and start at 10:00 A.M. on February 19, 2025.

Media are invited to a technical briefing on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, to discuss changes to the Canadian Armed Forces’ (CAF) recruitment process. As the CAF continues to support Canada’s national interests at home and abroad, it is diligently working to optimize, modernize, and strengthen its recruitment process to provide a streamlined and efficient process for potential recruits.

When: February 19, 2025, 10:00 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. EST

Ottawa, Ontario

What: General Jennie Carignan, Chief of the Defence Staff; Lieutenant-General        Lise Bourgon, Chief of Military Personnel and Commander of Military Personnel Command; Commodore Pascal Belhumeur, Commander of Military Personnel Generation Group; and Major-General Scott Malcolm, CAF Surgeon General, will provide information about the recruitment process modernization.
