CTC Services
Laundry
Course cadets and staff cadets are required to bring their own laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets, or they may purchase it from the cadet canteen.
Irons and ironing boards are available for use.
Canteen
The canteen provides a social atmosphere where you can relax after a long day of training. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase. Depending on availability, you may also purchase toiletries, polish, souvenirs, etc.
Accommodations
Cadet accommodations are multi-occupant and access restricted. Sleeping equipment consists two-tier bunk beds or single beds (location dependent). All bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows) is provided. Storage for personal belongings is provided via Steel lockers, “barrack boxes” or similar to those in schools provide security for cadets’ personal belongings. Cadets are expected to bring their own padlocks.
Visitor Access
Access to Cold Lake CTC is restricted to authorized personnel only. Visitors will be required to pre-arrange pick-up and produce Government-issued photo identification at the Operations Centre in building 79 upon arrival at the training centre.
Medical
Cadets who become ill or injured during authorized CCO Activities (Cadet Activity) are eligible for certain health and dental care entitlements, further information can be found here: Medical Care for Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers.
