1. Effective immediately, reference A is cancelled. The forms identified at reference A are no longer valid and were previously superseded by DND 2893, COATS – Class “A” Reserve Service Attendance and Transportation Assistance Allowance Register.
2. Regional Cadet Support Units (RCSUs) and the Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group (CJCR Gp) Headquarters will continue to use the DND 2893, COATS – Class “A” Reserve Service Attendance and Transportation Assistance Allowance Register when processing Class “A” reserve service for Cadet Organizations Administration and Training Service (COATS) members and Civilian Instructors (CIs). Corps/squadron Command Officers are responsible for ensuring that appropriate attendance records for all COATS members and CIs, are submitted to their RCSU on a regular basis, in accordance with reference B.
3. Any questions concerning the submission process for pay and benefits of members on Class “A” service may be directed to the RCSU J1 section.
