Cadet365 Account Management for Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group Volunteers

- Corps and squadron Commanding Officers (COs) may now request Cadet365 accounts for Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group (CJCR Gp) volunteers. Once granted access, CJCR Gp volunteers will have the same level of access to Cadet365 resources as a cadet and will not be permitted to access any Protected A or Protected B material.
- Cadet365 accounts should be reserved for CJCR Gp volunteers who participate regularly at the corps/squadron and require access to resources only available on Cadet365. CJCR Gp volunteers will not be placed in the corps/squadron staff team on Microsoft Teams, they may only have access to teams that are accessible to cadets.
- For the corps/squadron CO to request an account, a CJCR Gp volunteer must have completed their Adult Screening in accordance with reference A and be registered in MonitorMASS by the Regional Cadet Support Unit (RCSU). When input into MonitorMASS is complete, the CJCR Gp volunteer will appear in the corps/squadron staff list in Fortress.
- A CJCR Gp volunteer account may then be requested by the corps/squadron CO using the Electronic Account Request feature in the Virtual Orderly Room (Now leaving Canada.ca, link only accessible on CCO Net). Usernames and passwords will be generated by the Information Technology Service Management Centre (IT SMC) Service Desk and provided to the corps/squadron CO by email for distribution to the CJCR Gp volunteer. Corps/squadron COs are to share Cadet365 credentials in person or via phone, they are not to be e-mailed to a personal email account. Cadet365 accounts for CJCR Gp volunteers will be produced with the domain @vb.cadet.gc.ca where ‘vb’ is indicative of volunteer-benevole.
